How to make a Jack-O-Lantern?
You Need: 1 Pumpkin, 1 Knife, 1 Spoon, a Bowl, a candle, a matchbox, a marker and some newspapers.
Firstly, open some newspapers and place them flat to keep your working area clean. Now, keep your Pumpkin in the centre and start with taking off the stem by cutting the pumpkin at the top in such a way that there is enough space for your hand to go in. Now using the spoon, scoop out the Pumpkin.
Avoid using your hand if you don’t want a sticky layer bothering you. Now use the marker to sketch your desired look of your lantern on the best side of your Pumpkin.
Now using a knife, cut at a perpendicular angle and remove the loose pieces and keep them aside. Now keep the lantern inside the pumpkin from the top, light it and put the stem back in its place. Your own Jack-O-Lantern is ready!
