Today is an auspicious day for our country. Today our much anticipated Ram Mandir will be initiated in Ayodhya, by our respected Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He will lay the foundation stone of the Ram Temple. Along with him, there will be 175 people who will be present in the ceremony. There are some interesting ways the city of Ayodhya has been prepared for this auspicious ceremony.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be sharing the dais of the ceremony with RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat, trust chief Nritya Gopaldas Maharaj, Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel, and CM Adityanath.

For this huge event, the city of Ayodhya has also been painted yellow. The colour yellow in the hindu culture represents knowledge and learning. With it, barricades have been put up across the town, and seating arrangements have been done according to the Covid-19 norms. There will be a distance of six feet between the people who are interested in attending the ceremony.

This entire foundation laying ceremony will be broadcasted on Doordarshan. The main program will be taking place on June 5, but the initial ceremonies began 108 days prior to this day. These ceremonies include prayers and worship, recitation of vedas, vastu, grah, nakshatra, shanti path, sree ram naam path, hanuman naam path and havan.

It is a day of celebration and religiosity. It is a day we feel proud as Indians.
